For years I worked in the business world as a National Sales Manager in the construction industry. Following God’s call I left the business world and pastored in the local church for over 25 years. During that time I was privileged to lead every church I pastored in a capital campaign. When Biblical principles were taught in the church, I was amazed how generous and faithful God’s people would be. The buy-in from the congregation through that process, not only raised significant funds but the number of volunteers grew, the energy of the church was enhanced, and the church reached more people with the gospel.
However, I always had more vision than I had resources, especially financial resources. It wasn’t until late in my ministry that I learned to apply many of those same campaign principles from the campaign to my general fund. It taught me how to change the culture and effectively grow disciples in the area of generosity and stewardship. I want to help you do the same.
